Thanks to a fellow mama on facebook, I found this blog post. It's called "10 Areas of Motherhood Where I Fail (Where Do You Fail?)." I think every mom can relate to this. Not just the SAHM, but even the working moms.
I myself work four days a week, with one week day to myself with the boys. Now, I say day to myself, but really it is a catch up day for errands, grocery shopping, taking the boys out for some playtime at the playground or an indoor playground, you know, all that good stuff. Then on top of all those things, you have the daily household stuff to deal with.
I despise laundry. I can get it into the washing machine and drier, but the folding and putting away is at the bottom of my list. When it comes to the kitchen, I wish that I had a bigger kitchen, and that there were more hours in the day to cook and bake. I love creating in the kitchen, I just don't have the time to do what I want to do (who does?). Dishes get done, though not right away.
I could go over point for point about what I fail at, but in all reality, I do fail at all points listed in the blog post to some extent. I think that by failing, it doesn't make you a bad parent, it just means you are human and doing the best you can.

Here we go again

| My little family last year. |
My name is Laura, I'm 27 and a mom of 2 little monsters... I mean boys. Jaidyn, my oldest is 4, and my baby Bennett is 16 months. They keep me on my toes, or flat out on the couch with a glass of wine, depending on the night. I'm sure everyone can relate to that.
Another reason I wanted to start this blog is raise awareness to some issues that are close to me. One of them being post postpartum depression and depression in general. This is something I have been dealing with for over a year now.
In my spare time (spare time?!?! who am I kidding??), I like to spend my time reading, synchronized skating, baking, and selling Avon.
